Established in 2012, Dongguan International School (ISD), is the first international school authorized by the Chinese Ministry of Education in Dongguan. ISD has become the preferred choice for expat families in the area, with students from 30+ countries and regions!
东莞文盛外籍人员子女学校（ISD）成立于2012年，也是东莞首家获得国家教育部批准的国际学校。ISD已成为外籍家庭在东莞的首选国际学校，学生来自30+个国家和地区。
2012년에 설립된 동관 국제학교(ISD)는 중국 교육부가 동관에 설립한 최초의 국제 학교입니다. ISD는 30개 이상의 국가와 지역에서 온 학생들과 함께 이 지역의 외국인 가족들이 선호하는 선택이 되었습니다!
Over the past 12 years, ISD has continuously enhanced its educational quality. Our school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) from Pre-K to Grade 12. ISD has been officially granted IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Candidacy status, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward IB continuum education following our authorization for the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP). We will seek PYP Candidacy status in May 2025.

At ISD, we place a strong emphasis on the holistic development of our students in all fields, including academics, sports, arts, and music, which lays a foundation for their excelling on the global stage. Notably, ISD became the first school in Dongguan to advance to the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Tournament of Champions at Yale University, with 5 teams successfully reaching the finals, marking a new chapter in the city’s academic achievements.

With eleven graduating classes, ISD alumni are leaving their mark on the global stage. Our graduates have achieved a top IBDP score of 42 and boast a 100% university acceptance rate, gaining admission to prestigious institutions such as the University of Edinburgh, The London School of Economics and Political Science, New York University, Berklee College of Music, McGill University, École hôtelière de Lausanne and Seoul National University, highlighting the diverse and individualized potential for growth among our students.
