Spotlight | Welcoming New Faculty

During the preparation sessions, the new teachers gained a thorough understanding of the school’s culture, campus protocols, teaching management system, and the available support resources. This enabled them to quickly acclimate to their new responsibilities. The interactive exchanges with their colleagues also allowed our new faculty to establish a network of relationships, which further strengthened their sense of belonging within the ISD community.

在培训活动中，新老师全面了解了学校的文化、校园常规、教学管理系统能和帮助与支持等，快速适应新的工作角色。同事间的互动交流，也让他们与同伴建立起良好的人际关系网络，增强了对学校的认同感。

준비 세션 동안 신임 교사들은 학교 문화, 캠퍼스 프로토콜, 교육 관리 시스템 및 사용 가능한 지원 리소스에 대해 철저하게 이해를 하였습니다. 이를 통해 신임 교수진은 새로운 책임에 빠르게 적응할 수 있었습니다. 또한 동료들과의 상호 작용적인 교류를 통해 신임 교수진은 관계 네트워크를 구축할 수 있었고, 이를 통해 ISD 커뮤니티 내에서 소속감을 더욱 강화할 수 있었습니다.

The orientation also included immersive activities like in-depth campus visits and introductions to Chinese and Dongguan community culture. These experiences helped our new faculty members better acclimate to the local setting and appreciate ISD’s distinctive international atmosphere. One activity was the “Pizza Making and Team Building Class,” where new faculty could craft delicious pizzas and get to know each other better under the guidance of an expert chef and new ISD parent, Miguel, from Pizza Calzone. This joyful learning and interactive environment are sure to be reflected in the teachers’ future classroom endeavors, inspiring students to share in the marvel of collaboration and learning.

培训中丰富多样的活动，如深入参观校园和了解中国和东莞文化等，帮助新老师更好地融入当地的生活，感受学校独特的国际化社区氛围。其中一项活动是“创意披萨小课堂”活动。在这里，新教师们在ISD的新家长、必萨乐专业厨师Miguel的指导下，亲手制作各种口味的美味披萨。这种欢乐的学习和互动氛围必将在未来的教学实践中传递给学生们，引领他们一起体验合作与学习的魅力。

오리엔테이션에는 심층적인 캠퍼스 방문 및 중국 및 동관 커뮤니티 문화 소개와 같은 몰입형 활동도 포함되었습니다. 이러한 경험을 통해 신임 교수진은 지역 환경에 더 잘 적응하고 ISD의 독특한 국제적 분위기를 인식하는 데 도움이 되었습니다. 한 가지 활동은 “피자 만들기 및 팀 빌딩 수업”으로, 새로운 교수진은 피자 칼초네의 전문 셰프이자 새로운 ISD 학부모인 미구엘의 지도 아래 맛있는 피자를 만들고 서로를 더 잘 알 수 있었습니다. 이 즐거운 학습과 상호 작용적인 환경은 교사의 미래 교실 활동에 반영되어 학생들이 협업과 학습의 경이로움을 공유하도록 영감을 줄 것입니다.
