Today, we are delighted to share that ISD has officially been authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to offer both the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the IB Career-related Programme (CP). 

今天，我们终于可以正式分享：ISD分别于2026年5月和6月获得国际文凭组织（IBO） IB学术与专业融合课程项目（IB CP）以及 IB小学项目（IB PYP）的授权。

오늘, 저희 ISD는 국제 바칼로레아 기구(IBO)로부터 IB 초등 과정 (PYP)과 IB 진로 연계 과정 (CP)을 제공할 수 있는 공식 인증을 획득했음을 기쁜 마음으로 알려드립니다.

Together with our existing authorizations for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), ISD is now an authorized IB Continuum School, offering all four IB programmes.

至此，ISD正式成为获授权开设IB四大课程项目——PYP、MYP、DP和CP的IB一贯制学校。

기존의 중등 과정 (MYP) 및 디플로마 과정 (DP) 인증에 더해 , ISD 는 이제 모든 네 가지 IB 프로그램을 제공하는 공인 IB 컨티뉴엄 스쿨이 되었습니다 .

This is undoubtedly a moment of celebration.

Yet to us, it represents much more than the addition of two IB programmes.

It completes a learning journey that allows our students to grow within one coherent educational philosophy, from their first days in school at age three to graduation and beyond. Each stage builds naturally upon the last. Every learning experience prepares students for what comes next.

从3岁第一次走进校园，到18岁迈向世界，孩子的成长拥有了一条更加连贯的发展路径。每一步学习，都有迹可循；每一次成长，都彼此呼应。

Being the Only One Has Never Been the Goal

With the authorization of the CP and PYP, ISD has become the only IB Continuum School in Dongguan and Guangdong authorized to offer all four IB programmes, and one of only four such schools in China’s mainland.

随着CP和PYP获得授权，ISD正式成为东莞及广东地区唯一一所获授权开设IB四大课程项目的IB一贯制学校，同时也是中国内地仅有四所之一。

CP와 PYP의 승인을 통해 ISD는 둥관과 광둥성에서 유일하게 IB 4개 프로그램을 모두 제공할 수 있는 IB 컨티뉴엄 스쿨이 되었으며, 중국 본토에서도 이러한 학교 4곳 중 하나입니다.

It is an achievement we are deeply proud of.

This recognition carries significant meaning. Around the world, very few schools have earned authorization for the full IB continuum. Each programme requires schools to undergo a rigorous evaluation covering educational philosophy, curriculum design, teaching and learning, school culture, leadership, professional development, learning environment and long-term capacity for continuous improvement.

这份荣誉不仅是一份认证，更是一份国际认可。放眼全球，能够同时获得IB四大课程项目授权的学校屈指可数。每一个项目的授权，都意味着学校需要通过IBO对教育理念、课程建设、学习环境、校园文化、教师专业发展、学校管理以及资源支持体系等多个维度的严格评估。

이번 인증은 매우 중요한 의미를 지닙니다. 전 세계적으로 IB 전 과정을 이수할 수 있는 인증을 획득한 학교는 극히 드뭅니다. 각 프로그램은 교육 철학, 교육 과정 설계, 교수 및 학습, 학교 문화, 리더십, 전문성 개발, 학습 환경, 그리고 장기적인 개선 역량 등 다양한 측면을 포괄하는 엄격한 평가를 거쳐야 합니다.

Yet what matters most to us is not being “the only one.” Rather, this milestone reflects 14 years of commitment to educational excellence and reinforces the direction we have chosen since ISD first opened its doors.

但比起“唯一”，我们更珍惜的是，这份认可再次印证了ISD十四年来始终坚持的教育方向，也让更多家庭看见了一所学校长期深耕教育、持续追求卓越的决心。

Fourteen Years in the Making

When people see an IB Continuum School today, we remember the summer of 2012.

站在今天这个里程碑上，我们不由得想起2012年的那个夏天。

오늘날 사람들이 IB 컨티뉴엄 스쿨을 볼 때면, 2012년 여름을 떠올립니다.

That was when ISD welcomed its very first cohort of students, just 43 children. From that moment on, we have remained committed to a simple yet enduring mission: to provide a rigorous and well-rounded education while fostering the unique gifts and aspirations of each child.

那一年，ISD迎来了建校第一批学生，一共43位学子。从那时起，我们便始终坚持一个简单而坚定的办学宗旨——提供严谨而全面的教育，启发天赋，成就梦想。

그때 ISD는 단 43명의 아이들로 이루어진 첫 번째 신입생들을 맞이했습니다. 그 순간부터 우리는 단순하지만 변함없는 사명에 전념해 왔습니다. 바로 모든 아이들이 가진 고유한 재능과 열망을 키워주면서, 엄격하고 균형 잡힌 교육을 제공하는 것입니다.

In 2015, ISD became an authorized IB DP school. In 2024, we began our journey toward becoming a full IB Continuum School. In 2025, we were authorized to offer the MYP, followed by the PYP and CP in 2026, officially becoming an authorized IB Continuum School.

2015年，学校获得DP授权；2024年，正式启动全IB课程体系建设； 2025年，顺利获得MYP授权；2026年，PYP和CP项目相继获得授权，至此完成IB四大课程项目的全面授权。

2015년, ISD는 IB DP 공인 학교가 되었습니다. 2024년에는 완전한 IB 컨티뉴엄 학교로 거듭나기 위한 여정을 시작했습니다. 2025년에는 MYP 과정을 제공할 수 있는 자격을 획득했고, 2026년에는 PYP와 CP 과정까지 제공하게 되면서 공식적으로 IB 컨티뉴엄 공인 학교가 되었습니다.

The destination may be new, but the direction has never changed.

十四年，我们没有改变方向，只是不断走得更深。

목적지는 새롭지만, 방향은 결코 변하지 않았습니다.

Over the past fourteen years, we have continuously strengthened our curriculum, invested in our teachers, refined classroom practice, and created an environment where every student can thrive.

课程不断完善，教师持续成长，课堂不断迭代，校园持续优化。每一次教研、每一次培训、每一次课程创新，看似平凡，却都在为同一个目标积蓄力量——让每一位学生都能在高品质的教育中，发现天赋、发展潜能，走向属于自己的未来。

지난 14년 동안 우리는 지속적으로 교육과정을 강화하고, 교사들에게 투자하고, 수업 방식을 개선하고, 모든 학생이 성장할 수 있는 환경을 조성해 왔습니다.

None of this happened overnight. This milestone is built on fourteen years of shared commitment, and especially on the tireless work of our highly professional team over the past two years as they implemented the PYP, MYP and CP, while strengthening the DP through its evaluation. Their dedication, expertise and belief in our students made this achievement possible. We could not be prouder of the entire ISD team.

这一路，没有捷径。它建立在ISD十四年来始终如一的坚守之上，更凝聚着过去两年里全体教职员工的专业投入与不懈努力。正是他们在推进PYP、MYP和CP项目建设的同时，不断深化DP项目的发展，才共同成就了今天这一重要里程碑。他们的专业、热忱，以及对每一位学生的坚定信念，让这一切成为可能。能够与这样一支卓越的团队同行，我深感自豪。

이 모든 것은 하루아침에 이루어진 것이 아닙니다. 이 성과는 14년간의 공동 노력, 특히 지난 2년간 PYP, MYP, CP 프로그램을 시행하고 DP 프로그램 평가를 통해 강화해 온 전문적인 교직원들의 헌신적인 노력의 결실입니다. 교직원들의 헌신, 전문성, 그리고 학생들에 대한 믿음이 이러한 성과를 가능하게 했습니다. ISD 교직원 모두가 너무나 자랑스럽습니다.

Why Does the IB Continuum Matter?

Because we believe learning should grow naturally alongside the child.

我们始终相信，成长，本就应该是一件连续发生的事情。

The best education does not ask students to start over every few years. Instead, it provides a coherent pathway where each stage builds upon the previous one, allowing students to develop with confidence while remaining curious about the world around them.

真正好的教育，不应该在不同学段不断“重新开始”，而应该让每一次学习，都自然连接下一次探索，让孩子在不同年龄收获适合自己的挑战，也始终保持对世界的好奇与热爱。

최고의 교육은 학생들이 몇 년마다 처음부터 다시 시작하도록 하는 것이 아닙니다. 오히려 각 단계가 이전 단계를 기반으로 발전하는 일관된 경로를 제공하여 학생들이 자신감을 키우는 동시에 주변 세상에 대한 호기심을 잃지 않도록 하는 것입니다.

From the inquiry-driven learning of the PYP, to the critical thinking fostered in the MYP, the academic depth of the DP and the real-world application of the CP, each programme serves a distinct purpose. Together, they share one common goal: helping young people become independent thinkers, lifelong learners and compassionate individuals who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.

What Does This Mean for ISD Families?

It means that our students can experience a seamless IB education from ages 3 to 19, with each stage carefully connected to the next.

它意味着，孩子可以在3至19岁的完整学习旅程中，持续接受连贯一致的IB教育，在不同学习阶段实现自然衔接、平稳过渡。

It means that in the senior years, students can choose between the IB DP and the IB CP according to their interests, strengths and aspirations. Every programme is delivered according to globally recognized IB standards and supported through ongoing quality assurance, preparing students for universities around the world and for a rapidly changing future beyond them.

For us, however, it is not a finish line. It is a renewed commitment. Education has never been about collecting accreditations. Its true value lies in what happens every day inside our classrooms, in the questions our students ask, the ideas they explore, the challenges they overcome, and the relationships they build.

While the IB continuum is now in place, our work continues. We will keep learning, reflecting and improving, always striving to provide the very best education for every child entrusted to our care.

今天，我们完成的是IB四大课程项目的布局；未来，我们依然会不断学习、不断反思、不断成长。因为，对教育而言，一所学校对教育品质的追求，永远没有完成的一天。

IB 교육과정이 마련되었지만, 우리의 노력은 계속될 것입니다. 우리는 끊임없이 배우고, 성찰하고, 발전하며, 우리에게 맡겨진 모든 아이들에게 최고의 교육을 제공하기 위해 항상 최선을 다할 것입니다.
