This week, ISD’s new head of school beginning in July 2023 for next school year, Mr. Mark McCallum, embarked on a week-long campus visit and met and greeted with community members for the first time. Warmly welcome Mr. Mark McCallum to the Qilin community!
本周，ISD社区迎来了候任校长Mark McCallum先生进行为期一周的访校活动，并首次与麒麟社区成员见面交流。McCallum先生将于2023年7月正式上任，我们热烈欢迎他加入麒麟大家庭！
이번 주, 2023년 7월부터 다음 학년도를 시작하는 ISD의 신임 교장인 Mr. Mark McCallum이 일주일 간의 캠퍼스 방문에 착수하여 처음으로 지역 사회 구성원들을 만나고 인사를 나누었습니다. Qilin 커뮤니티에 오신 Mark McCallum 씨를 따뜻하게 환영합니다!
Mr. McCallum visited ISD classrooms and met with teachers and students face-to-face to gain a better understanding of their impressive teaching and learning. He visited classes of divisions from Early Childhood to Secondary School, observed students’learning and explored knowledge together with them. Mr. Mark McCallum also visited the Business Science Fair organized by grade 9 science class where he interacted with students and was invited to experience games designed by students.
在本次访校活动中，McCallum先生走进ISD的课室，与老师和孩子们亲切交流，亲身感受了学校的教学氛围。他参观了从幼儿园到中学部的各个课程，观摩学生们的学习成果，聆听师生之间的交流。此外McCallum先生还参观了九年级科学课的商业科学展单元，受邀体验学生们设计的游戏。
Mr. McCallum은 ISD 교실을 방문하고 교사와 학생들을 직접 만나 그들의 인상적인 가르침과 학습에 대해 더 잘 이해했습니다. 그는 유아부터 중등학교까지 학급을 방문하여 학생들의 학습을 관찰하고 함께 지식을 탐구했습니다. Mark McCallum 씨는 또한 9학년 과학 수업에서 조직된 비즈니스 과학 박람회를 방문하여 학생들과 교류하고 학생들이 디자인한 게임을 체험하도록 초대받았습니다.
He also engaged with students at ASA clubs, had meeting with Student Council, joined the ES assembly, and other events, during which he met the friendly embrace of the vibrant Qilin community.
此外，校长还参与了课后活动俱乐部，参加学生会见面会、小学部集会以及其他校园活动，与社区成员们互动交流，感受到了麒麟大家庭的温暖和活力。
그는 또한 ASA 클럽에서 학생들과 교류하고, 학생회와 회의를 가졌고, ES 어셈블리 및 기타 행사에 참여했으며, 그 동안 활기찬 Qilin 커뮤니티의 우호적인 따뜻함을 느꼈습니다.
Mr. Mark McCallum also met and greeted the ISD administrative team, teachers, staff from various departments and ISD PSA, through which he improved mutual understanding and communication.
