The Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS), as an international educational organization with strong influence in Asia, serves both teachers and students, setting rigorous standards for teacher qualifications, curriculum, accreditation, and evaluation. Its member schools are expected to provide high-quality international education with English as the language of instruction. However, meeting these requirements is challenging for most international schools.
ACAMIS同时为老师与学生提供服务的双重模式，使之成为独特的世界国际化教育组织，其在亚洲地区有强大的影响力。从教师资质到课程设立、组织认证到全面的校园评估，ACAMIS都有着严格的标准。从学校特点看，ACAMIS希望成为其会员的学校，能确保英语为教学语言，并提供高品质国际课程等，这使得能够符合ACAMIS入会标准的国际学校并不多。
Founded in 1999, ACAMIS is a regional association of international schools in Mongolia, the mainland of China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Taiwan region. It was founded initially as a means for students to connect in post-season regional tournaments. Since then, the organization has evolved, adding more sports as wellas other student activities, service-learning grants, and professional development opportunities for staff.
ACAMIS成立于1999年，是一个区域性国际学校的组织，成员学校来自蒙古、中国、中国香港、中国澳门和台湾地区。始建之初，ACAMIS的目的是让学生有机会参加季后区域比赛。从那时起，该组织持续蓬勃发展，不断丰富体育运动项目和其他学生活动，提升对教职员工的培训和专业发展机会。

ACAMIS closely links its 84 member schools in a number of ways. ACAMIS organised sports tournaments and cultural events. It also supports school staff through professional development programs and networking opportunities.
ACAMIS通过多种方式将84所成员学校紧密地连接在一起。ACAMIS通过组织体育比赛和文化活动等方式，为学生搭建起沟通交流的平台。除此之外，该组织还通过专业发展计划和提供交流机会，为学校教职员工提供支持。

ACAMIS believes that membership should be extended to those schools that it can best serve and that, in return, they can contribute to the ACAMIS community.

Since 2012, ISD has been serving the Dongguan community with high-quality education, providing international education from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. ISD is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), making it one of only 65 WASC-accredited international schools in China. ISD is an authorized IB World School offering IBDP to students. ISD’s excellent quality allows us to take full advantage of the services provided by ACAMIS and contributes to the community.
自2012年建校起，ISD始终以高质量的教育服务于东莞社区，提供从幼儿园到高中12年级的国际教育。ISD荣获美国西部学校与学院教育联盟（WASC）认证，是中国国内仅有的65所获得WASC认证的国际学校之一。此外，ISD还获得世界文凭组织（IBO）授权开设IBDP课程。优异的办学质量让我校得以充分享受ACAMIS提供的服务，并为其他成员学校作出自己的贡献。
The Purposes of ACAMIS
ACAMIS的宗旨
– Broaden learning opportunities for students from all ACAMIS member schools in a total program of education, particularly in sports competitions and arts and culture;- Advance the professional development of the staff of the member schools;
– Facilitate communication and cooperative action among member schools;
– Promote understanding and international friendship through the activities of member schools;
-Cooperate with other organizations and individuals pursuing similar purposes as ACAMIS.
-为所有ACAMIS成员学校的学生拓宽学习渠道，特别是在体育竞赛、艺术和文化方面；-拓宽成员学校教职工的发展空间；
-促进成员学校之间的沟通和合作；
-通过成员学校间的交流活动促进校际间的相互理解和发展国际友谊；
-和与ACAMIS宗旨相同的组织机构或个体进行合作并共同发展。
A primary goal of ACAMIS is to provide opportunities for students at ACAMIS member schools to interact through sports and cultural enrichment events. It covers a wide range of sporting activities including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, etc. ISD competitive athletic teams play an active role in representing the school in various sports. ISD boys’ and girls’ basketball, football, and volleyball teams have competed very well in ACAMIS tournaments and received numerous awards at competitions of other international schools. Taking advantage of the ACAMIS network, Qilin athletes have the opportunity to compete with students from other international schools, show their skills and sportsmanship, and promote understanding and international friendship.
ACAMIS的主要目标之一是为其成员学校的学生提供体育和文化活动，以加强校际交流。其中体育活动类型十分丰富，有排球、篮球、足球、羽毛球等。ISD的体育竞技队伍具备极高竞争力，代表学校在多项比赛中表现出色。学校男子以及女子篮球队、足球队、排球队屡次在ACAMIS举办的锦标赛中名列前茅。依托ACAMIS将各学校连接在一起的平台优势，麒麟的运动员有大量机会与其他国际学校的学生同台竞技，充分展示他们的运动技能和体育精神，并增进了彼此间的理解和国际友谊。
ISD is committed to the well-rounded development of our students. Through ACAMIS, a comprehensive interschool platform, we foster an international education philosophy that enhances our students’ learning experiences. By interacting and communicating with peers from other international schools, ISD students are inspired to become global citizens with an international outlook.
