Recently, the 2023 Math Kangaroo competition came to an end and the results were announced. Four ISD students participated in different levels in the Math Kangaroo competition. One of the students, Pascal P. from Grade 4, won the silver prize. Congratulations!
近日，2023年袋鼠数学竞赛（Math Kangaroo）落下帷幕，比赛结果新鲜出炉！我校有四名学生分别参加了该数学竞赛的不同等级。其中，四年级学生Pascal P. 在竞赛中脱颖而出，斩获银奖。恭喜麒麟学子获此殊荣！
Math Kangaroo is an international mathematical competition held across 92 countries in the world. There are twelve levels of participation, ranging from grade 1 to grade 12.
数学袋鼠是一项国际数学竞赛，目前在世界92个国家举行。该竞赛包含从1年级到12年级，共12个参与等级。
Math Kangaroo competition aims at stimulating children’s interests and confidence in mathematics learning, cultivating students’ mathematical thinking, and training their abilities to read, understand, analyze and solve problems. Due to its moderate difficulty and vividness, it stimulates students’ interests in mathematics learning and promote in-class teaching. The competition has become famous around the world.
袋鼠数学竞赛旨在激发孩子们数学学习的兴趣及自信，培养学生的数学思维，训练学生阅读、理解、分析和解决问题的能力。因其难度适中、生动有趣，能激发学生数学学习兴趣和促进课内教学，该项赛事逐步风靡全世界。
