Qilin Pride | Congratulations to AMC 10/12 Winners

ISD students performed admirably in the 2023 American Mathematics Competition (AMC) 10/12. Junhao H., a ninth grader, and Frank F., a tenth-grader, both received certificates of distinction and progressed to the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME). Congratulations!

在2023年度美国数学竞赛（AMC）10/12中，我校学生取得了优异的成绩。9年级学生 Junhao H. 和10年级学生 Frank F. 荣获全球优秀奖，并成功晋级AIME美国数学邀请赛。祝贺成功晋级同学们！

2023년 미국 수학 경시대회(AMC) 10/12에서 ISD 학생들이 뛰어난 성적을 거두었습니다. 9학년인 준하오 H. 학생과 10학년인 프랭크 F. 학생은 모두 우수상을 수상하고 미국 수학 경시대회(AIME)에 진출하게 되었습니다. 축하합니다!

The AIME is one of the AMC series of examinations, and students who perform exceptionally well on the AMC 10/12 are invited to participate in the AIME. The AIME advancement is very prestigious and significantly improves students’ prospects of admission to elite colleges in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

AIME是美国数学竞赛AMC系列赛事之一，在AMC 10/12中成绩优秀的学生会被邀请参加美国数学邀请赛AIME。成功晋级AIME将以极高的含金量助力学生申请英、美等国家的顶尖高校。

AIME는 AMC 시리즈 시험 중 하나로, AMC 10/12에서 우수한 성적을 거둔 학생은 AIME에 참가할 수 있습니다. AIME 진학은 매우 권위 있는 시험으로 미국, 영국 및 기타 국가의 엘리트 대학에 진학할 수 있는 가능성을 크게 높여줍니다.

About The AMC 10/12 

The AMC is organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). They are among the most prominent math competitions for young students around the world. This competition is open to students from all over the world and attracts tens of thousands of participants each year. The AMC 10 is targeted at students in grade 10 or below, while the AMC 12 is for students in grade 12 or below. The competition covers all high school mathematics areas. The AMC effectively assesses students’ mathematical abilities in a comprehensive and objective manner due to its rigorous and balanced design.

美国数学测评（AMC）由美国数学协会（MAA）举办，是全球最有影响力的青少年数学测评活动之一。这项竞赛面向全球范围内的学生开放，每年吸引数以万计的参赛选手。AMC 10/12分别主要面向10年级和12年级以下的高中生。赛题涵盖了高中数学的所有知识点。因为设计严谨、简难兼具，AMC能够在测试中充分而客观地考察出学生的数学能力。

AMC는 미국수학협회(MAA)에서 주최합니다. 이 대회는 전 세계 학생들을 위한 가장 유명한 수학 경시대회 중 하나입니다. 이 대회는 전 세계 학생들이 참가할 수 있으며 매년 수만 명이 참가합니다. AMC 10은 10학년 이하의 학생을 대상으로 하며, AMC 12는 12학년 이하의 학생을 대상으로 합니다. 이 대회는 모든 고등학교 수학 영역을 다룹니다. AMC는 엄격하고 균형 있게 설계되어 학생들의 수학적 능력을 종합적이고 객관적으로 효과적으로 평가합니다.
