Students have easy access to connect with the outside world and expand their learning experiences in the age of technology. Field trips allow students to step out of the classroom and engage with the real world, promoting a profound integration of academic knowledge and first-hand experiences.

在这个科技蓬勃发展的时代，学生能够轻松地与外部世界建立联系，借助网络资源丰富学习体验。实地探究学习让学子走出教室，触及更为真实的外部世界，推动理论知识与亲身体验的融合。

학생들은 기술 시대에 외부 세계와 쉽게 연결하고 학습 경험을 확장할 수 있습니다. 현장 학습을 통해 학생들은 교실에서 벗어나 실제 세계와 교류하며 학문적 지식과 직접 경험의 심오한 통합을 촉진할 수 있습니다.

Mandarin

In Grade 9 Mandarin class, our students are now studying traditional Chinese classics, “Tribute to Yueyang Tower” and “The Roadside Hut of the Old Drunkard.” Based on their initial comprehension of the scriptures, they depicted the ancient architectures through artistic forms such as painting. The teacher also arranged for the students to visit the Keyuan Museum, a nearby ancient architectural landmark, to supplement their understanding of the articles.

在9年级的中文课堂上，同学们正在学习古文《岳阳楼记》与《醉翁亭记》。他们根据对文章的初步理解，用绘画等艺术形式表现自己对诗词的理解。老师组织学生们就近参观与诗词中相似的古代建筑–可园博物馆，以此提升对文章意境的解读。

9학년 중국어 수업에서 학생들은 현재 중국 전통 고전인 “위양탑에 바치는 헌사”와 “늙은 술꾼의 길가 오두막”을 공부하고 있습니다. 학생들은 경전에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 그림과 같은 예술적 형식을 통해 고대 건축물을 묘사했습니다. 또한 교사는 학생들이 글에 대한 이해를 보충하기 위해 인근의 고대 건축 랜드마크인 계원 박물관을 방문하도록 하였습니다.

Students had a tour of the Keyuan Museum while reflecting on the articles. They visited the houses, courtyards, and study rooms of historic literati and went through pavilions, bridges, and halls, listening to traditional music and immersing themselves in the rich cultural legacy.学生带着对课文的理解，在可园博物馆游览，参观旧时文人雅士的住宅、庭院和书房等艺术空间。他们穿行于亭台楼阁、山水桥榭与厅堂轩院之间，聆听曲艺音韵，感悟其中丰富的文化内涵。학생들은 기사를 성찰하면서 케위안 박물관을 견학했습니다. 학생들은 역사적인 문인들의 집, 안뜰, 공부방을 방문하고 누각, 다리, 홀을 지나며 전통 음악을 들으며 풍부한 문화 유산에 빠져들었습니다.

Returning to the classroom with their newfound insights from the museum visit, they curated a collection of photographs taken during their field trip and organized a photography exhibition. They combined their interpretations of the literary and the authors’ backgrounds into these photos, enhancing their learning experience.

最后，学生把在可园博物馆的学习收获带回课堂，精选和整理了实地拍摄的图片，举办了一次摄影展。他们将古文内涵和作者创作背景融入实景照片，让这次学习更加生动有趣。

박물관 방문을 통해 새롭게 얻은 통찰력을 가지고 교실로 돌아온 학생들은 현장학습에서 찍은 사진들을 모아 사진전을 기획했습니다. 학생들은 문학과 작가의 배경에 대한 자신의 해석을 사진에 결합하여 학습 경험을 향상시켰습니다.

IBDP BIOLOGY

Grade 12 Biology students went on a field trip to deepen their knowledge of ecology. Prior to the trip, the students collaborated to plan and execute the investigation, conducting background research on the methodology and creating their own variables to evaluate. The students went to the park armed with a 1m x 1m quadrant, a 15-meter string, a trundle wheel, a soil moisture sensor, and pH paper. They worked in groups to complete assessments at regular 5-meter intervals starting from the park’s lake.1

2年级选修IBDP生物学课程的学生进行了生态学的实地探究学习。在前期准备中，学生合作计划和执行调查方案，还对方案进行了背景研究学习，并创建测试变量。随后，学生带上 1m x 1m正方框、15 米长的绳子、测量轮、土壤湿度传感器和pH值测试纸等工具来到公园里。学生分小组从公园的湖中开始，每隔 5 米进行一次评估。

12학년 생물학 수업 학생들은 생태에 대한 지식을 넓히기 위해 현장 학습을 떠났습니다. 여행에 앞서 학생들은 방법론에 대한 배경 조사를 하고 평가할 변수를 직접 만드는 등 조사 계획과 실행을 위해 협력했습니다. 학생들은 1m x 1m 사각형, 15m 끈, 트런들 휠, 토양 수분 센서, pH 종이로 무장한 채 공원으로 향했습니다. 학생들은 조를 이루어 공원 호수에서 시작하여 5m 간격으로 일정한 간격으로 평가를 완료했습니다.

Ana D., a Grade 12 student, shared that in terms of the benefits of the field trip for her IBDP Biology course, it specifically increased her comprehension of quadrant sampling because they had to do all of the steps on their own. This hands-on experience improved her understanding of the subject and aided her overall learning in the IBDP Biology curriculum.

As a result of the field trip, each group developed and presented a report that included background research, methodology, collected data, and analysis. The Grade 12 Biology students had an enjoyable and educational field trip to the park, where they learned about ecosystem dynamics and the influence of abiotic factors on biodiversity.在这次实地探究学习结束后，每个小组都创建并提交一份报告，其中包括背景研究、方法论、收集到的数据及其分析。12年级的生物学课程学生在这次公园实地探究学习收获了富有教育意义学习体验，同时对生态系统动态和非生物因素对生物多样性的影响有了新的认识。현장 학습의 결과로 각 그룹은 배경 조사, 방법론, 수집된 데이터 및 분석이 포함된 보고서를 개발하여 발표했습니다. 12학년 생물학 학생들은 공원에서 생태계 역학과 생물 다양성에 대한 비생물학적 요인의 영향에 대해 배우는 즐겁고 유익한 현장학습을 가졌습니다.

IBDP Visual Arts

IBDP Visual Arts students went on a field trip to the M+ Museum in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. They went to the M+ Sigg Collection: Another Story, where they were immersed in contemporary Chinese art styles and practices. They also explored art exhibitions highlighting Chinese art, fashion, and popular culture.

IBDP视觉艺术课程的学生到香港西九龙的M+博物馆进行了实地探究。他们参观了M+博物馆希克藏品：别传，感受中国当代艺术的风格和实践，此外还参观关于中国艺术、时尚和流行文化的艺术展览。IBDP 시각예술반 학생들이 홍콩 웨스트 구룡에 있는 M+ 박물관으로 현장학습을 다녀왔습니다. 학생들은 M+ 시그 컬렉션을 관람했습니다: 또 다른 이야기’를 관람하며 현대 중국 미술의 스타일과 관행에 몰입했습니다. 또한 중국 예술, 패션, 대중문화를 조명하는 미술 전시회를 둘러보았습니다.

11th graders got the opportunity to appreciate the artworks they chose as research subjects during a field trip to the M+ Museum, getting insights into how they were presented within a larger context. Meanwhile, 12th graders focused on researching and mastering various types of exhibition layout and display strategies in preparation for their approaching final exhibition in March 2024.

在这次M+博物馆的学习中，11年级学生可以亲眼欣赏他们选择作为研究对象的作品，了解其在整体背景中的展示方式。12年级学生研究和学习不同种类的展览布局和展示方法，为他们将于2024年3月举办的IB艺术展览做好准备。

11학년 학생들은 M+ 박물관 현장 학습을 통해 연구 주제로 선택한 예술 작품을 감상하고 더 큰 맥락에서 어떻게 표현되었는지에 대한 통찰력을 얻을 수 있는 기회를 가졌습니다. 한편, 12학년 학생들은 2024년 3월에 열릴 최종 전시회를 준비하기 위해 다양한 유형의 전시 레이아웃과 전시 전략을 연구하고 숙달하는 데 집중했습니다.

The students observed the materials and techniques employed by the artists up close, giving them a vision of their own artmaking process. This field trip to the M+ Museum also enabled our students to practice international mindedness and delve deeper into Chinese history from the perspective of contemporary Chinese artists.

ISD’s field trips integrate extracurricular exploration into regular teaching, allowing students to benefit from inquiry-based learning and stimulate deeper thinking. We look forward to having more diverse field trips in the future and continuing to provide Qilin students with fantastic learning opportunities!学生们近距离观察艺术家运用的材料和技法，深入了解他们的创作过程，为自身的艺术创作提供了新的思路。此次M+博物馆实地学习也让我们的学生培养国际视野，从当代中国艺术家的角度理解中国历史。

我校通过实地探究式学习，将课外探索融入日常教学，为学生们带来了满满的收获与深度的思考。我们期待在未来，通过更为丰富多元的课堂延伸活动，继续为麒麟学子创造精彩的学习体验！학생들은 예술가들이 사용하는 재료와 기법을 가까이에서 관찰하며 자신의 작품 제작 과정에 대한 비전을 갖게 되었습니다. 이번 M+ 박물관 견학을 통해 학생들은 국제적인 마인드를 기르고 현대 중국 예술가들의 관점에서 중국 역사를 더 깊이 탐구할 수 있었습니다.
