As the four-yearly World Cup kicked off and the world cheered and applauded the soccer extravaganza, ISD’s 10th graders also played an exciting round of robot soccer competition in the Maker space during this extraordinary global moment.
四年一度的世界杯拉开了帷幕,全世界都在为足球的盛宴欢呼鼓掌,在这个全球的非凡时刻,ISD的十年级学生在创客空间也进行了一轮激动人心的机器人足球比赛
4년마다 열리는 월드컵이 시작되고 전 세계가 축구 축제에 환호하고 갈채를 보내고있습니다. ISD의 10학년 학생들도 이 특별한 글로벌 순간에 Maker 공간에서 흥미진진한 로봇 축구 경기를 펼쳤습니다.
VEX is the world’s leading robotics platform, bringing STEM skills to life by tasking teams of students with designing and building robots to play with other teams in game-based engineering challenges.
VEX是世界领先的机器人竞技平台,学生团队通过合作设计制造机器人,在游戏过程中与其他团队进行挑战,将STEM技能融入生活。旨在拓展学生们对科学、技术、工程和数学领域兴趣提高并促进青少年的团队合作精神、领导才能和解决问题的能力。
VEX는 세계 최고의 로봇 공학 플랫폼으로, 학생들로 구성된 팀이 게임 기반 엔지니어링 과제에서 다른 팀과 함께 플레이할 로봇을 설계하고 구축하는 임무를 부여함으로써 STEM 기술에 생명을 불어넣습니다.
The VEX V5 robot is made of relatively high-strength metal components and requires the use of modern mechanical tools such as a bench vise, hacksaw, and drill to present an industrial robot building process. Therefore, before the competition, students were required to be proficient in using of various metalworking tools and modular programming methods to design and build the robot structure.
VEXV5机器人的材料是相对高强度金属构件,需要使用现代机械工具如台钳,钢锯,电钻等,呈现工业化机器人制作过程。因此在正式比赛前,即要求学生们能熟练使用各种金属件加工工具和模块化编程方法进行机器人结构设计搭建。
VEX V5 로봇은 상대적으로 고강도 금속 부품으로 만들어졌으며 산업용 로봇 제작 프로세스를 제시하기 위해 벤치 바이스, 쇠톱 및 드릴과 같은 최신 기계 도구를 사용해야 합니다. 따라서 대회 전에 학생들은 로봇 구조를 설계하고 구축하기 위해 다양한 금속 가공 도구와 모듈식 프로그래밍 방법을 사용하는 데 능숙해야 했습니다.
In the competition, the students operated their own VEX EDR robots, and their design, control, and strategy were tested, whether they were attacking the ball in the opponent’s goal, or moving quickly to block the opponent’s attack route. The competition is a team competition with strong confrontation, intense and exciting competition, and can exercise the teamwork, independent communication and leadership skills of the players.
而本次比赛通过抽签形式分组对决,在比赛中,由学生操控自己设计的VEX EDR机器人,无论是进攻时带球突破将球攻入对方球门,还是防守时快速移动封堵对手的进攻路线,都极其考验学生们对机器人的设计、操控和策略运用,竞赛以团队对抗的形式,对抗性强,比赛紧张刺激,并能够锻炼队员的团队协作,自主沟通交流和领导能力
대회에서 학생들은 자신의 VEX EDR 로봇을 작동시켰고 상대의 골문에 있는 공을 공격하는지, 상대의 공격 경로를 막기 위해 빠르게 움직이는지 그들의 디자인, 제어 및 전략을 테스트했습니다. 이 대회는 팀전으로 강력한 대결, 강렬하고 흥미진진한 경쟁을 통해 선수들의 팀워크, 독립적인 의사소통  리더십 기술을 발휘할 수 있습니다.
The Sumo Robotics Competition for 8th graders also recently saw its finals. As a springboard for VEX EDR robotics learning, VEX IQ is geared towards 4th-8th graders with ABS plastic and steel axes for robot materials. However, it also requires group work for advanced robot design and construction, mastery of English code programming methods, and computer modeling. Sumo robot building and modification is the highest level of VEX IQ technology used, and over the past few weeks, students have been working on Sumo robot improvements, and all of the robots designed have been fantastic and have performed well in competitions. One of the advantageous aspects of learning in the maker space is the integration of the design cycle into the different grade levels. All students will learn how to come up with a solution, test it, optimize it, and improve their skills through this cycle.

最近八年级学生的相扑机器人比赛也迎来了决赛。作为VEX EDR机器人学习的跳板,VEX IQ主要面向4-8年级学生,机器人材料是ABS塑料和钢轴。但同样需要小组合作进行高级机器人设计搭建,掌握英文代码编程方法,以及电脑建模的方法。相扑机器人的制作与改良是VEX IQ技术中最高级别的运用,在过去几周,同学们一直为相扑机器人的改良而努力,所有设计的机器人都非常棒,并在比赛中表现出色。在创客空间中学习的其中一个优势方面就是把设计周期融合在不同的年级中。所有的学生都将学到如何提出解决方案、测试方案、优化方案,通过这样的循环来提高他们的技能。

 8학년을 대상으로 한 스모 로보틱스 대회도 최근 결승전을 치렀습니다. VEX EDR 로봇 학습을 위한 발판으로서 VEX IQ는 로봇 재료용 ABS 플라스틱 및 강철 축을 사용하여 4~8학년을 대상으로 합니다. 그러나 고급 로봇 설계 및 구성, 영어 코드 프로그래밍 방법 숙달 및 컴퓨터 모델링을 위한 그룹 작업도 필요합니다. 스모 로봇 제작 및 수정은 사용된 최고 수준의 VEX IQ 기술이며, 지난 몇 주 동안 학생들은 스모 로봇 개선 작업을 해 왔으며 설계된 모든 로봇은 환상적이었고 대회에서 좋은 성과를 거두었습니다. 제작자 공간 학습의 유리한 측면 중 하나는 설계 주기를 다양한 학년 수준으로 통합하는 것입니다. 모든 학생들은  주기를 통해 솔루션을 제시하고, 테스트하고, 최적화하고, 기술을 향상시키는 방법을 배우게 됩니다.

The International School of Dongguan places a strong emphasis on STEM education. It has dedicated teachers in elementary and middle schools to ensure that every student has access to resources and training on robotics. One-on-one iPad programming classes are also offered at the elementary level so that students can begin to gain exposure and learn about robotics before they even enter middle school. In the middle school’s maker space, students can use laser cutters, 3D printers, and other tools to make their STEM dreams come true.

ISD非常重视STEM教育,小学和中学都设有专门的教师,确保每个学生都能得到有关机器人的资源和训练。同时也在小学开设一对一iPad编程课,这样能让学生们在进入中学之前就开始能接触和学习机器人相关知识。在学校中学部的创客空间,学生可以使用激光切割机,3D打印机等各种工具,实现他们的STEM梦想。

International School of Dongguan은 STEM 교육을 강조합니다. 모든 학생이 로봇 공학에 대한 리소스 및 교육에 액세스할 수 있도록 초등학교 및 중학교에 전담 교사가 있습니다. 일대일 iPad 프로그래밍 수업도 초급 수준에서 제공되어 학생들이 중학교에 입학하기 전에 노출을 시작하고 로봇 공학에 대해 배울 수 있습니다. 중학교의 제작자 공간에서 학생들은 레이저 절단기, 3D 프린터 및 기타 도구를 사용하여 STEM 꿈을 실현할 수 있습니다.
